It's been almost three years, but no more braces!

Well you can't really tell that she had a tooth growing out of the side of her gum and all the bottom ones were crooked...he he he

She was so excited to get braces...even when she knew they would be on forever. This is about a year into the process.

The camera died after taking this photo so I cannot get anything better to show you, but her teeth look great in real life - ha. And it only took three years! lol

It's been a busy few weeks....

We said goodbye to Grandpop. It was such a great visit we hated to see him leave. I was kinda down for a while after he left...more homesick than I had been in years. Sad.

We wrapped up our T-Ball season. Our team was actually reeeeaaaalllly good! Even if I do say so myself - ha.

Umm...I don't know how to rotate ! Ha...help me Carly! This is my beautiful niece Carly. Lauren and I attended her baby shower. It was so fun and so great to see Carly and Sherrie again. Love love love them!

A visit to the Hogle Zoo with Julie's Grandbabies. It was so wonderful to have Christina, Kyle, Chanele, and Julie with us. The kids are so gorgeous - they won over everyone's hearts. Symone is missing from this picture though...

Big ambitious Eagle Project of painting the U.S. map on the playground of the new school. Julie and her clan extended their trip just to help us. Thanks so much you guys! The neighbors turned up also. Thank goodness. The weather rained off the first attempt..ha. This was take two later that day when the sun finally came out to stay~

Monday we took Dad down to BYU to see where Nate will be attending school in a couple of months. While there, we toured the art museum and then had subway for lunch. Afterwards Dad took the kids bike shopping...he bought them new bikes! They have been loving it!! So spoiled.

Tibble Fork Resevoir

Fun times watching Jarom fishing at Tibble Fork Resevoir up American Fork Canyon. It was cooler up there. There was even a summer rainstorm with the big drops of water bouncing off the lake - we got a little wet, but the tree we were under did a reasonable job of keeping us from getting saturated. It was very busy up there, but the views still made it seem peaceful. Dad enjoyed seeing the critters all over the place...they were like ground squirrel things. Fun.

Lavender Day

Saturday we took Dad down to Mona to see the Young Living Farm. I have been working at the Young Living corporate office for several years, and even though I only work Saturday's now, I still enjoy participating in the Lavender celebration. I started work that morning at 5am in Mona setting up and registering people to run the 5K race through the fields of lavender. Then the family met me down there for a free employee brunch. Whilst there we watched a jousting tournament, made a lavender wreath together, and enjoyed the pretty gardens. On the way back we stopped at the famous Red Barn apple orchards for some delicious ice cream. We took a little walk by the lake after the long drive home. Then later that evening, Jerry, Dad, and I attended Malosi Te'o's wedding in Alpine. he married John and Luella Muaina's girl. The reception was in a really impressive home. I should have taken a picture of the back yard and pool...(amazing!)...but I just got a shot of the front of the house as we were leaving. Turns out, it was David Hanneman's house...a friend of ours from BYU Hawaii days. Great day.

Day two

Today we went to the zoo and then up to Park City. It was very hot!
The kids enjoyed the train ride and the carousel. The rest of us loved the bird show where eagles and doves flew so close above our heads our hair moved...it was really a great show. Tomorrow we are off to Mona to see the jousting at the Lavender Farm while I work helping with the 5K run down there for Young Living. Hope you like the pictures :)

Dad's here!

Dad arrived from New Zealand yesterday and we are all having lots of fun together. We attended the little boys t-ball game last night (I have been roped into coaching their team...It's crazy)
Today we have been to the Dinosaur Museum, eaten old fashioned ice-cream sundae's at the Thanksgiving Point Deli, and then went up to the super sporting goods store, Cabela's. The temperature outside just hit 95 degrees (35 Celsius) so we have come home to enjoy some air conditioning and hide from the heat for a couple of hours before heading out again.
